What's next for HomePod?

色々とアップルサポートとやりとりしていてわかった事！。

どうも HomePod は単独で使用するか、iphone からの再生や Apple TV の再瀬を想定しているようです。ogasun みたいに Mac からの再生や Mac から Apple TVへのミラーリングは上手に行きません。もし購入検討される方が見えましたらご注意ください。

ogasun は毎日、夜はルーターの電源を切っています。ですから朝の最初に HomePod を使い始める時に、スムーズに一発で繋がる時と、 HomePod の再起動が必要な時や数回再起動が必要な時や、電源の入れ直しが必要な時や色々です。一度繋がって仕舞エば iphone でも Apple TV でも Mac mini でも使えます。

ネットワークとの接続とホームアプリとの連携は非常に不安定です。

音としては気に入っているので、もう暫くは騙し騙し使ってみますね。

HomePod is intended to be used standalone, or for playback from an iPhone or Apple TV. Unlike ogasun, playback from a Mac or mirroring from a Mac to an Apple TV doesn't work well. Please be careful if you're considering purchasing one.

I turn off my router every night. So when I start using HomePod first thing in the morning, sometimes it connects smoothly and immediately, and sometimes I have to restart HomePod, or several times, or even power it off and on. Once it's connected, I can use it with my iPhone, Apple TV, and Mac mini.

The network connection and integration with the Home app are very unstable.

I like the sound, so I'll keep using it for a while longer.
