What happened after the HomePod?

結局、Home Pod 単独で音楽再生するか、Apple TV 4K に繋いで使うことにしました。前回nBlog で書いたように使わない時はネットワークを遮断しています。

ネットワークを立ち上げてから、Home Pod 単独で音楽再生できますし、Apple TV 4Kも起動すれば音はきちんと出ます。

しかし iphone や Mac mini で音楽再生しようとすると Home Pod はネットワークの節青くの問題で、右だけとか飛騨d李dファけの片方だけ音が出たり、両方ともで出なかったりします。ごくたまには両方出る時もありますが、以ネットワーク異常のメッセージは出ています。だいたい1から3回ほど Home Pod を再起動するとなって正常につながります。一度繋がって仕舞えばほぼほぼ大丈夫です。また、 Mac mini ではすリプするたびにサウンドメニューを開いて Home Pod を再選択する必要があります。ホームアプリとの連携も悪く表示が正確ではありません。なので Mac mini は従来の Duet3+JBL に戻しました。

元々は空間オーディオ聴きたかったので Apple TV 4K に繋いで音が出ればよしとします。皆さま関連があれば参考にしてください。

In the end, I decided to either play music on the HomePod by itself, or connect it to an Apple TV 4K. As I wrote in my last nBlog, I disconnect the network when not in use. After setting up the network, I was able to play music on the HomePod by itself, and sound played properly when the Apple TV 4K was turned on.However, when I try to play music on my iPhone or Mac mini, the HomePod has network connectivity issues, with sound coming out only from the right side, or only from one side, or neither. Occasionally, sound comes out from both, but a message about a network issue appears. Restarting the HomePod about 1 to 3 times usually fixes it, and then it connects normally. Once it connects, it's generally fine.Also, on the Mac mini, I have to open the sound menu and reselect HomePod every time I want to reply. It doesn't work well with the Home app and the display isn't accurate. So I went back to the old Duet3+JBL on the Mac mini. I originally wanted to listen to spatial audio, so I'm happy as long as I can connect it to an Apple TV 4K and get sound. Please find this useful if it's relevant to you.
