前日の夕刊の記事に導かれて、ちょっと無理して‥本当に久しぶりに常滑から名古屋へお出かけしました。常滑のINAXライブミュージアムと名古屋の愛知県美術館へ行ってきました。両舘で共に岡本太郎さんの作品展をしていました。
岡本太郎さんは1970年の大阪万博の太陽の塔で知り、何かずっと気になっている存在です。岡本太郎さんの展示会としては碧南市の藤井辰吉美術館で見て依頼です。とてもたくさんの作品群に圧倒されましたが、今回はなぜか？途中の通路に書かれた言葉に一番こころ動かされました。展覧会を観てから思わずミュージアムショップで本を二冊買ってしまいました。うん、無理して出かけてよかったと思う今日この頃です。
Guided by an article in the evening paper the day before, I forced myself to go out from Tokoname to Nagoya for the first time in a long time. I went to the INAX Live Museum in Tokoname and the Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art in Nagoya.We had an exhibition of works by Taro Okamoto in both buildings.
I got to know Taro Okamoto at the Tower of the Sun at the Osaka Expo in 1970, and I've always been curious about him. As for Taro Okamoto's exhibition, it is a request to see it at the Tatsukichi Fujii Museum in Hekinan City. I was overwhelmed by so many works, but why this time? I was most moved by the words written in the aisle on the way. After seeing the exhibition, I bought two books at the museum shop. Yeah, these days I think I'm glad I forced myself to go out.
